You’ll set the agenda for our coaching sessions. I’ll help you answer the key questions: What are your needs, goals, and options? From there we'll explore your circumstances more deeply, bringing good sense—and inspiration—to your leadership and decision-making.
I offer my coaching by phone or video chat, whichever best suits the needs (phone often works better) wherever you are in the world. We'll meet for an hour each time. By the end of each session we'll agree on concrete steps to keep momentum.
Our conversations will be completely confidential. There will be no gimmicks: only genuine progress toward concrete goals.
If you are open-minded and ready to work patiently through today's dilemmas toward long-term results, then consider working with me.
As a pragmatic idealist comfortable with ambiguity, maybe you've already witnessed your potential to bring about positive change.
While dissatisfaction is part of being human, you seek to channel yours toward the betterment of self and others.
Although you have strong opinions, you work to understand differing views—yet you also have the right amount of "stubbornness" to hold onto your dreams through difficult times.
Finally, you understand that courage is not the absence of fear but willingness to act in spite of it.
As a professional communicator, manager, and educator who learned his trade in some of our planet's most challenging environments, I see things that others miss.
I have had a successful career. By this I mean I've used the whole range of achievements, eff-ups and pure luck to zigzag to the top of my field—largely on my own terms. I've turned "dead-end" jobs into career boosters and moved on from setbacks, big and small, to correct course and produce tangible results.
Along the way I deployed resources and used opportunities to spark positive change around the world—while giving quality time to my family and putting two great kids through top U.S. schools.
If that description appeals to you, then let's talk.
Coaching is a relationship designed to facilitate the development of personal or professional goals and create a plan/strategy for achieving those goals. Coaching is not a substitute for counseling or mental health care. The client is fully responsible for the decisions and choices reached during the coaching sessions.
